A vacancy has arisen for a flexible, organised individual to provide maternity cover for a 12 month period in the role of Network Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the wide area network, VPN connectivity and remote connections. As well as undertaking daily monitoring and administration they will also be required to work on on-going projects and review emerging technologies. They will be responsible for the configuration, installation and support of all networking devices.
The successful candidate should possess:
2 years hands-on Cisco experience up to CCNA level
Knowledge of products:
Cisco VPN Concentrator
Cisco Switching
Cisco Routers
Cisco Pix Firewall
Cisco Secure

• Good Understanding of MPLS, BGP, HSRP, VPN, DSL and TCP/IP
• Good Cisco trouble-shooting skills encompassing a general level of knowledge of Microsoft networking and PC configurations
• Flexibility, providing out of hours support and be able to travel when required
• Good planning and organizational skills
